L'utilisation contre l’absé dlé (affection ganglionnaire inguinale), la diarrhée et la rougeole sont classés REC sur la base de l'emploi significatif traditionnel documenté dans les enquêtes TRAMIL et l'information scientifique publiée.

Toute application topique doit respecter les mesures d'hygiène rigoureuses afin d'éviter la contamination ou une infection surajoutée.

L'utilisation de cette ressource en cas de diarrhée doit être considérée comme un complément à la thérapie par réhydratation orale.

L'utilisation de cette ressource dans le cas de la rougeole, doit être considérée comme complémentaire pour ses propriétés antipyrétique, immunostimulante, anti-inflammatoire et anti-histaminique.

En cas de détérioration du patient ou que l’“absé dlé” (affection du ganglion inguinal) persiste plus de 8 jours ou la diarrhée plus de 3 jours chez l'adulte, 2 jours chez l’enfant de plus de 3 ans, consulter un médecin.

Ne pas administrer pendant la grossesse, l'allaitement ni à des enfants de moins de 3 ans.

Contre l’“absé dlé” (affection ganglionnaire inguinale) :
Laver à l'eau bouillie 50 grammes de feuilles et les écraser. Mettre une quantité suffisante pour couvrir la zone affectée préalablement lavée avec de l'eau bouillie et du savon. Couvrir avec un pansement ou torchon propre et renouveler toutes les 8 heures.

Contre la diarrhée :
Préparer une décoction avec 40 grammes de parties aériennes fraîches dans 6 tasses (1½ litre) d'eau, faire bouillir dans un récipient ouvert et réduire de moitié. Laisser refroidir, filtrer et boire 1 tasse 3 fois par jour pendant 3 jours33.

Contre la rougeole :
Préparer une décoction avec 30 grammes de parties aériennes fraîches dans 6 tasses (1½ litre) d'eau, faire bouillir dans un récipient ouvert et réduire à 1 litre. Laisser refroidir, filtrer et boire 1 tasse 3 fois par jour pendant 2 ou 3 jours33.

Toute préparation médicinale doit être conservée au froid et utilisée dans les 24 heures.
