Descripción botánica
Hierba robusta o arbusto de hasta 4 m de altura. Hojas simples, alternas, enteras o trilobuladas, aovadas a oblongo-lanceoladas, con el borde dentado, de 5 a 24 cm de largo. Panículas de hasta 10 cm de diámetro; capítulos amarillos, de 6 mm de diámetro; brácteas involucrales oblongas, en cuatro series. Aquenios de 2 mm.
