Description botanique
En Amérique de nombreusesespèces ont été introduites, presque toutes utilisées indistinctement dans la médecine populaire. Leur identification taxinomique est difficile, d’autant qu’il existe des facteurs d’hybridation; c’est pourquoi nous ne présenterons pas de description détaillée.
Eucalyptus spp. sont des arbres dont la hauteur peut atteindre 40 m. Tronc droit, écorce lisse et squameuse. Feuilles simples, alternes et aromatiques.
