According to the information available:
The use for headaches, baldness and haematomas is classified as REC based on the significant traditional use documented in TRAMIL surveys and toxicity studies.
The use for gastroduodenal ulcers is classified as REC based on the significant traditional use documented in the TRAMIL surveys and the scientific information published.
If deterioration is observed in the patient or the symptoms of headache persist for more than 2 days, the haematoma orgastroduodenal ulcer for more than 7 days, seek medical attention.
Not for use during pregnancy of breastfeeding.
The cooked tuber (not green) of Solanum tuberosum is a food of relatively widespread human consumption. Do not consume the tubers in their green state because of potential toxicity8-9 .
