Descripción botánica
Herbácea anual, tallos de 30 cm de altura, tomentosa y con abundantes pelos amarillentos. Hojas opuestas con pecíolos cortos, láminas ovadas a lanceoladas, casi siempre rombiformes, de 1 a 3 cm de longitud, base redondeada, ápice agudo, márgenes aserrados, casi siempre con manchas rojas o púrpuras. Inflorescencias terminales y axilares, pedúnculadas, con pequeñas glándulas púrpuras. Cápsulas de 1 a 1.2 mm de longitud, pubescente-estrigosas.
